The philosophy of social media is to communicate your message efficiently by engagement, interaction, promotion and also, relating to your listeners. Heather Mansfield accomplishes this in numerous mays through Facebook and Twitter. She employs many strategies and techniques to help nonprofits excel in the world of social media to help their non-profit organization in areas where they need the most help.

In order for a nonprofit to succeed, one must recognize the areas that need the most improvement. In many cases, the lack of promoting the organization is where many organizations need the most help. Many organizations lack in the area of having a Facebook page designed for the organization and also a twitter account designed to the same means of promoting the nonprofit. If I were to help a nonprofit, I would utilize many of the techniques from Mansfield’s, Social Media for Social Good (SMSG).
